Coffee is the ultimate stress buster for many. With the natural fragance of its aroma and bitter sweet taste, no one can resist to drink a cup of heavenly-relaxing coffee. Drinking this fine ground roasted beans awaken one’s spirit and create more positive and productive day.

Amadeo has always been a one-stop spot for tourists and other people. They are captivated by the peaceful ambiance of the town and of course, by its local products. Because of the high production of coffee, Amadeo is then recognized as the ‘Coffee Capital of the Philippines’ – a home for coffee lovers and coffee addicts.

The coffee shops in the town (particularly Cafe Amadeo or Olivia’s Coffee Estate) offer good quality and variety of coffee, frappes, and delicious sweet-baked pastries.

Many say that the people dwelling here are kind, generous, and respectful. Yes,  its really true. But aside from this, they are very friendly too.  Smiles are evident in their faces most of the time and they show their positivity always. Another nice thing about them is the “bayanihan” which are mostly seen during occasions and festival. They have this charecteristics of helping each other in times of needs.

Well we may encounter a lot of people in our lives, different names, personalities, and characteristics, but one thing is for sure—Amadeans are surely the best!

Amadeo is a town  known for its natural beauty. A peaceful aura and soothing ambiance covers the whole town. Not just the town is best for its famous coffee, it’s also known for the tourist attraction it has. Some of these are the falls and the Catholic Church.

• Balite falls is a simple but clean and peaceful resort in the town of Amadeo. It is located in Banay-Banay, a barrio in the town. A stream running through the resort drops down on a small shallow pool before cascading down into a larger and deeper pool at another lower level. The two waterfalls thus formed are the centerpiece of the resort.

• St. Mary Magdalene Parish is the place where Amadeans enriches their spirituals attitudes. This is the place where they connect with God. This place is located at the center of the Amadeo near the town hall. Amadeans are indeed faithful. Nothing can break there strong bond with Christ. The people are full of willingness to serve God.

Variety of Food everywhere

Aside from Amadeo’s famous product coffee,  the town is also rich in unique type of foods. These yummy food stuffs can be bought at “one-step stores” meaning that they are  near to everyone. These shops are bulit near other stores so that it would not be hassle for the fellow customers to find them. Some stores offer cheap yet delicious food and some offer cooked dishes.

Few steps away from plaza, you can smell the smoke coming from the grills where the street foods are being grilled. At cheap price,  one has the opportunity to buy and taste the delicious food on sticks. Some of the street foods being sold are the isaw, barbecue, bindonggo, dugo, and hotdogs.

 On the other street, you can see the famous fishballs on cart. Buying in the  rolling street food tricycle is sure to be a new experience. With a few coins, you can now afford to taste the hot fishballs and kikiams on a sweet chili sauce. This place is where most of people, particularly the students decided to go.

“Tahoo…. nandito na”. Another food that is surely popular in the town is the taho. A sweet treat composing of soy, sago, and syrup. This food can be bought for only Php5.00 or higher depending on the cup’s size. This famous taho is the children’s favorite treat which they eat during snack time in the morning. The person selling this product often roam around the whole town(sa bayan) while shouting “taho”.

Suman is one of the “kakanin” that is mostly made in the town especially during November. This product is made up of malagkit rice which is cooked in coconut milk, often wrapped on banana leaves.

Lastly, Amadeans also cooked different mouth watering dishes such as Adobo and Sinigang. These dishes are nativley cooked in their original recipe which gives off its natural flavor and taste.  These dishes are mostly seen in some karinderyas in the town.

“Quality of Education, AmaNaHis is the best decision”

Amadeo has many different schools where one should study. There are publics schools and private schools that are scattered in different baranggay and barrios of the town. Above all this is the Amadeo’s pride which is the Amadeo National School (AmaNaHis) that is an active performing school in Cavite. AmaNaHis won many awards in different categories and continuously competing. Although some facilities are lacking in the school, it has the best teachers who are always willing to teach and share their knowledge. The school also has different clubs and organizations that keeps the school year more meaningful by providing various activities that involves the whole school campus.
